Case note: provincial health aggregates
A Eastern Cape health NGO exported weekly clinic aggregates from three legacy MySQL instances into Postgres. Incremental loads used MAX(updated_at) without tie-breakers, dropping rows that shared timestamps.
Our review documented the predicate, proposed a composite cursor, and pointed to two tests that would have caught regressions. The client implemented changes before flu season reporting; they have since booked a lighter retest pass.
